Basic Quran Reading Course

Learning to read the Qur’an correctly is the first step towards understanding the words of Allah. This course is designed for complete beginners who want to start from the Arabic alphabet (Alif–Ba) and gradually become confident in reading the Qur’an fluently.

We offer structured and easy-to-follow lessons suitable for both children (5+) and adults. Separate male and female teachers are available to ensure a comfortable and respectful learning environment for all students.

  • Correct pronunciation of letters (Makharij)
  • Harakat (Fatha, Kasra, Damma) and basic sounds
  • Tanween (Double vowels)
  • Sukoon (Jazm) and Shaddah (Tashdeed)
  • Joining letters to form words
  • Reading with spelling (step-by-step method)
  • Reading without spelling (fluency development)
  • Rules of Madd (elongation) and Madd letters
  • Leen letters and their usage
  • Basic Tajweed rules (introduction)
  • Rules of Noon Sakin & Tanween
  • Rules of Meem Sakin
  • Special writing and reading rules (silent letters, etc.)
  • Stop and pause rules (Waqf)
  • Recognition and correct reading of Huruf Al-Muqatta’at
  • Building confidence in Qur’an reading

  • Method of Wudu and Salah
  • Memorization of short Surahs
  • Daily Duas
  • Islamic manners and character building
  • Short Islamic stories for children

 

A portion of each class is dedicated to building good character, discipline, and Islamic values.
